Biography 

Needing to shake things up in my art practice this technique of painting and sculpting with thread enlivens my art in a new direction of exploration, experimentation and sense of discovery that I find thrilling and stimulating. My art making journey has turned towards this magical and unconventional technique of utilizing a sewing machine to draw on water soluble material. Once the base fabric is washed away I can create stitched embroidered pieces that transform into three-dimensional sculptures.
