Artist Statement

I am a professional artist living in Emeryville, CA and at South Lake Tahoe, CA. I have a studio in Berkeley, CA and work out of my garage at South Lake Tahoe. I have been making art for over 30 years and have a large inventory of artwork. Starting as a painter, I have now learned printmaking, papermaking, and mixed media skills. My go to work materials are canvas, paper, wood, found objects, acrylics, oils, printmaking inks, ink and most recently wax. I continue to experiment with materials, methods, and subject matter. The love of family, my community, the Californian landscape, and the historical perspective is evident in my artwork.
