Alla Agafonov

Professionally trained as an Architect; I have been painting with watercolor all my life. Lately, I have been interested in larger scale pieces that really let me play around with colors on the page and get into much greater detail. Most of my works start out as a plein air painting which I then finish in the studio. I love layering washes and seeing the colors bring life into the scenery of my piece.
